Are you in need of day boarding or overnight care for your pet? We offer dog and cat boarding. Whether your pet is recovering from surgery or you simply need a familiar place for him or her to stay while you are away, we welcome your pet at our hospital!
Our Boarding Facilities and Services
We offer the following to all pets boarding with us:
- Administration of any necessary medications
- Leashed walks with one of our staff members three times a day
- Nutritious food and fresh water
- Spacious and clean kennels and cages
- Supervised care and medical attention as needed
Pet Boarding Vaccination Requirements
Your pet must be up-to-date on all vaccines and fecal testing. If your pet is boarding with us for the first time, please remember to bring his or her vaccination records, as well as any other pertinent medical files that we may need to properly care for your pet.
- Distemper (dogs and cats)
- Rabies (dogs and cats)
- Bordetella vaccine within last 6 months (dogs only)
- Fecal test within last year (dogs and cats)
Any personal belongings, such as blankets and toys, are not guaranteed to be returned with your pet. Please be prepared to take your pet’s collar, leash, and/or carrier with you when you drop off your pet.

There will be a Special Care Boarding charge for any patients staying at Clairmont Animal Hospital who require technician monitoring/assistance and/or DVM supervision. The Special Care Boarding charge includes your pet's nightly boarding rate, medications you bring from home, and our staff's expertise in providing excellent patient care.
Also, please remember that we close at 7 p.m. M-F and 5 p.m.Sat & Sun. We do not have staff onsite during closed hours. Please call our office at 404-633-6163 to schedule your pet's boarding reservations.
